Every day my daughter asking me the same question. She wants to know if I have any craft projects for her. This has always been something we have done together, and she loves to get all icky with the glue and creating something that comes from her imagination. There are times though when I am just plain short of ideas, and I have to look online to find something for us to do together. I like to buy the already put together craft kits that you can find in the store, but these only go so far. I often have to think of something to do that means we have to start from scratch. These end up being the most fun anyway.

The good news is that there is never any shortage of craft projects that I can find online. The problem usually is finding something that I have supplies for. Sometimes I have to make a list and then wait until the end of the week to go get stuff for the craft projects that she wants to do. I have been to the craft store so many times they are beginning to know me by name. I guess that’s better than them knowing me by name at the liquor store right?

Our craft projects usually end up taking up an entire afternoon. We both love to do them, and there are times when I don’t realize how much time has passed until I look up and see my husband staring down at me asking me if planned to make dinner any time soon. Usually we are so involved in our craft projects that he just goes ahead and makes dinner himself, and then he tells us when it is time to eat our dinner.

You can find craft projects on a lot of sites online, but one great place to look is on a site that sells the craft supplies. They usually have ideas that others have not thought of, though you may have to buy their stuff to complete the craft. You can also try home schooling websites, and places that collect articles like Associated Content. They have a whole section on craft projects and that is where I get a lot of my ideas. Just remember that it doesn’t matter how complicated or how simple your projects are, your children will love doing them either way.
